| This is the thread to submit your photographs for the species photo directory.
Submissions: good quality, clear pictures. The pictures can include any part of the scorpions anatomy, in particular any that may help with identifying or sexing the species. Pictures of the scorpions natural habitat may also be included. Photographers will be fully credited.
Information: a small amount of information on the species can be included such as: species (obviously) and also subspecies/colour morph/variant if applicable, country/area of origin (if you know where it was collected), what the sex and instar of the scorpion is, and if you include any anatomical pictures, a brief description of what they show (e.g. ventral aspect of chela etc.).
Please avoid any discussion within this thread. It's purpose is for members to submit their pictures. Pictures will be removed from the thread once they have been added to the directory.

| Bumpety. Keep the pictures coming!
If anyone has any good quality, clear pictures of their scorpions please feel free to post them in this thread or add a link so I can find and steal them for the directory. Species not yet included in the directory are very welcome but more pictures of species already listed are also wanted. The more the better!!
Please include scientific name and if possible instar, sex and country of origin/locality. Any other brief but interesting information (such as if the scorpion is gravid, pre-moult, morph, etc. etc.) is also useful.
Also if anyone is aware of any taxonomical changes to the species listed in the directory please tell us and we can edit the relevant submissions. Or, as shadowfoot in particular has noticed, if any species are incorrectly labelled let us know.
Finally, if anyone spots any pictures that have 'expired' because the user has deleted their hosting website account, or whatever, could you please let us know? | |

| Cheers Dave. I'll start putting these into the directory. Before I take them off this thread, are you able to provide info on place of origin, sex, instar etc. for each of the pictures? | |

| All pictured are adults, and presumed female except for the U. yaschenkoi, which is sex unknown and 4th instar. I bought them all online,so I don't have collection data unfortunately. I do know approximately where two of the suppliers go collecting though, the I. vescus and the L. burchari are from south australia's midnorth, somewhere near Woomera/Lake Hart area, the U. yasch and U. armatus are from the south australian Mallee region. The others I dont know, the I. melenodactylus are only found in Queensland,C. squama is widespread,I have no idea where mine came from. | |
