| i just went n got some pin heads today lol! the babies are a little darker today:D which means transfer to the new tank possibly tomarrow. theres still a couple cling ons on her back but i assume there just the ones that were born on the third day, lol.
i read that a mother wont harm her young there intire life that she can "smell" herself on them is this true? because if it is i think i might put mommy in the bigger tank aswell, can n e one tell me if this is true???
should i wait till there all dark before i put them in ther new tank there all just huddled in the bottom of mommies burrow

| Ive read that too! Some people, one guy who runs the invert bit at Marwell zoo has had mixed results with keeping them in with mum! Keeping them in and they die Taking them out and they die Keeping them in and they live taking them out and they live Its upto you! If she has made it so far and they all have enough food then I cant see why she would snack on her babies. But seriously. they can handle small crickets. Mine did! xxxxxxx | |

| I've heard the same thing as far as keep them in and she'll eat them and take them out and they'll die.
As long as they have plenty of food they should be fine.

| well, i took mine out and away from mum at 2 weeks and 5 days old. All have survived and the babies all in one tank. One death but due to a runt having a bad moult. I think its always going to be luck of the draw with these cratures xxx | |

| You can keep them in and if you want to remove them get 2 containers. Remove mum from the tank. Then with a spoon scoop out the babies into another container, when all collected *and counted* you can rehome them. if some are hanging about on mum, dont worry. You can have another go later. xxx | |
