Yeah I had that with my A. Australis "Obi" it just passed away a few weeks ago. I was really down. Obi didn't eat for half a year before munching on a cricket.

Update....
Yoda is a digger... a very hardcore digger... with tunnels stretching round the whole tank she is a real bulldozer...
The more information, the more I understand this scorpion. I have come to the conclusion that I wanted to make it more natural looking.
She is digging and digging and spends a lot of time under the ground. Therefor I upgraded her tank. I got some more coco peat, and made the same slope construction I did for Jabba.
I gave her another 6 cm of soil to dig in. I placed an extra piece of wood in to make a sort of combined / second hide, and covered it all with dried moss (real moss). I am very happy with this setup and will keep it this way. All the fake plants and flowers are gone, I really liked the color, but prefer natural materials.
I wanted to go for the modest, simple and most important: more naturalistic set up. I liked it really jungle-ish but after seeing some pictures of natural habitats, I decided it was a bit full.
After being inspired by some awesome looking naturalistic landscaping for scorpions, which I have seen here and on other fora I started redecorating....
Check out this awesome thread which inspired me so much... Here
I so absolutely am a big fan of his set ups!
I am going to cover the top layer of peat up with exo terra forest ground but I will wait untill she is getting on with digging and I won't have to adjust the substrate every day;)
Also, I got the chance to do a little photo shoot with miss Yoda... She posed in a little cricket box with some slate stone as an underground for contrast:)
Please enjoy:

To stimulate burrowing behaviors, the substrate must be packed down, or soft? Mine don't dig unfortunately. Also, she's looking as cute as ever. I want a cavimanus of my own

Fairly compacted, as the tunnels will collapse otherwise.

Ok. It's been pretty packed for awhile but I still see no burrowing activity. That's cool though, I know mine are happy.

With Emps it have read and experienced some of them do dig others just don't and hide and that's it:)
Don't worry about it you gave them the option, they will dig if necessary.

Here is a little video of Yoda, I changed her substrate to a thicker layer, I took out the dried moss, putting it back when she has made progress with her burrowing, otherwise she will "redecorate" everything, having patience and letting her do her thing first, seems like the best thing to do. I am getting to know her, so I love her little quirks, like the jittery drumlike moves and the daring, careful exploration trips:)
