| Well I haven't seen my emps in a few days, so I thought I'd poke around their holes and see if they get pissed off enough to show me that they are in fact still alive. Especially since they haven't eaten since the first feed since I've gotten them. (Yes I know not to worry, but I do want to make sure they are still alive) Their water disappears nightly however, though I'm unsure if that's because of the heat lamp or the scorps :p Anyway, one decided to hang out at the entrance of it's hide. Now originally I thought the little white "clumps" were it's poo.. is this correct? Because if so, they are poo eaters? Anyway here come the pics: (If you don't see all pics (4) hit refresh, my free host isn't 100% awesome, but I like it more than photobucket) Pokin out of it's hide: Big scary claws.. rar! In color (With flash), you can see the white stuff in it's "mouth" and just one of the other scorps hide, that I thought looked neat: Edit: I prefer black in white for two reasons: 1) My camera seems to have trouble focusing in the red light, and normal color 2) I can take photos in the red light, in black and white, with out the flash, and in my head the flash probably bothers the scorpions | |

| Nice closeups. The goo in the mouth is probably food leftovers. | |

| Does anyone know any techniques to macro shooting? I'm having a hard time getting clear close ups with a Polaroid i733 . Piece of crap! | |

| Good lighting is essential; otherwise a point-and-click camera won't know where to focus. | |
