Wellp... They didn't exactly like eachother very much this time around.

I introduced Hikaru to Bellatrix's tank. He wandered over to her and there was a little tail wagging at first but then they went all out on eachother. After intervening about 3 times I returned Hikaru to his enclosure. Maybe they just need a week to settle into their new homes? I have not had them for more than but a few days.

Suggestions?

Be patient. Make sure they have a flat surface to get down and dirty

I read somewhere on here that misting before you attempt to mate forest species (emps) works to put them in the mood. Is that the same for Red claws? If anyone one knows if they having environmental mating triggers that may help.
