Just got a baby red knee tarantula and need some help!

I have left it in overnight before and he just never touches it for some reason. I am scared of leaving it in there for longer because of injury or stress to my spider. I am gonna try feeding again in a few days though I believe its getting ready to molt soon but still unsure.

when i first got my baby G. rosea it wasnt eating

about 10 days after i got it , it molted.

my female G. rosea molted the day after i brought her home

i thought she was dead when i saw her on her back

i didnt know that molted on there back

your spider is probably going to molt soon i bet thats why its not eating.

Wow thats crazy! Good to know your guys made it ok through the molt. I hope that is the case he is getting pretty sluggish and his abdomen is discolored so I believe he might soon enough but I dont know. Fingers crossed haha

Check it out he finally molted! Discovered it this afternoon when I was checking up on my other creatures. Very happy that I dont have to worry about that anymore haha.

ken the bug guy told me to wait about 4 days after the molt to offer food

but others have told me to wait 10 days

My B.Vagans sling is doing the same thing. It might molt soon.

People tell me 5 or 7 but I suppose ill stick with 7 just to be safe. But thanks so much it was really cool when I discovered it haha. Just bumped his enclosure pretty badly though just now and I really hope I didnt hurt him. He looks totally fine but I dont know.

its do for a molt its been a while.

I think it might be a female actually haha and ya they do that then all of a sudden you wake up and they are bigger haha
