| Glad to have you back. Awe my communal Arizonensis set up was so awesome. I loved it. I succesfully bred and molted a few until I had to get rid of them at 3-4i. I had succesfully bred a H.arizonensis and H.arizonesis pallidus. Wasn't trying to hybridize or anything but it happened. It was a pretty big enclosurer and a ton of sand. I couldn't even move it anymore it weighed a ton. | |

| That would have been pretty awesome. The H. Spadix and H. Arizonensis for sale are all 1" to 2" body size. I might be able to get the enclosure conditions right. In one back corner I put some coco fiber that could hold some moisture. The rest of the tank is 5" to 6" deep sand and excavator clay which is dry. Is it still next to impossible to get Hadrurus to molt in captivity? Might be possible with this set up. | |

| The very bottom layer of my enclosure had very little moist clay. It raised the humidity slighly but only at the very bottom and I offered about 18 inches of substrate. They seemed to tunnel to the perfect spot about 3/4 of the way down to molt. | |

| Scorpions will usually push the exoskeleton out of their burrow....if that's not the case then to prevent mold/mites you may have to take it out with tongs.
I'd personally leave it in, no need to disturb the scorpion or mess up the burrow unless it's necessary. | |
