| I've got some pics of my male Emp. He's looking all fat for a molt but I also noticed some substance around his teslon and anus. I've posting pictures. Is he's size a result of molt or perhaps some kind of blockage? Any advice is welcome. The crusty stuff. | |

| I'm no expert in this matter but you might consider a fresh layer of poo-free substrate and very clean encosure sides to see if your scorp is pooing if you are concerned about blockage. I have never heard of a plugged up scorp. Can it happen? | |

| The substrate in there is clean and new. And yes they can have a blocked anus. But with his getting ready to molt and me not having an emp who molted before. I"m not sure what else to do but wait and see. But no ones likes doing that! | |

| How do you tell if they have a blocked anus? If you suspect that could you soak him in water for a few minutes a day?
I hate waiting also! | |
