My Emperor seems pretty mad

Hey guys! So my Emperor always seems pretty mad.
I dont think it is the conditions. The tank is kept between 75-88. With the humidity around 75-80%.
Whenever I go to change the water or clean a bit, he gets defensive and at times trys to attack my hand.
Do I just have a foul tempered Emp? Haha

Oh! But something I think is cool, he'll let me feed him by hand, which I think is pretty cool.

It's the "Protect the Castle" defense. It's normal and a very good sign that your emp is healthy. My adult emp is the same way. The younger ones are more "run to the highlands" at the moment.

For sure. A healthy emp will protect his/her burrow. They are predators after all.
