What Size Should I Use?

Hi guys. I've been researching for my future scorpion [Emperor Scorpion]. Many says to put one in a 10 gallon tank, some says 1 in a 5 gallon, and some says 2 in a 10. What should I choose?
1-10 gallon
1-5 gallon
2-10 gallon

Assuming that you'll be getting an adult emp, in my opnion, about 3.5 gallon would suffice as minimum requirement.

Anything bigger (e.g. 5 gallon or 10 gallon) is only good if you are interested to build a naturalistic enclosure or having plans to add more emps and create a communal setup.

It also depends on the space u have for your invert collection.

so how many emps can I put on a 10 gallon tank?

How many to cohabit may differ from different keepers.

For 10 gallon, you probably can house 2-3 adult emps.

2-3 max in a 10gal I would say. I had 8 in a 33gal at one point and personally found that would be the max ammount I would want in a 33gal.

I keep mine in a 10 gallon, but that's because I have much decor.

I have two large mature emps. One male and one female. I keep them housed separately, each in a large Critter Keeper (3 gallon). They seem to do fine but I would not want the cage to be smaller.

I just transferred my three Emps to a big ten gallon. I wanted to give them more space, so I made some six hides for them to explore

Nope, they still all love each other - they buried themselves into one hide.

Nope, they still all love each other - they buried themselves into one hide.

Same story here, I have six sharing the same hide and they spreaded out to make their own burrows.

5 gallon would be best for one adult; I think 3.5 is cool for non-adults.
