Was thinking of getting a Gramastola rosea what do you think?

Hey i was thinking for my next invert i would get a tarantula I think just like scorpions they are very cool haha. My local pet store only has this one in store and i love it. I was just wondering if this would be a good beginner tarantula to own and care for.

I think it's alright to be a starter tarantula. What size is it as seen in your local store?

They are a good starter T. Just remember that they are known to refuse food for long periods, not all of them. They are also not the fastest growers if you decide to get a sling.
My Rose grew about 2cm in almost two years where as my L. difficilis grew 6cm in only a few months.

GS i am not entirely sure about the size of the one at my pet store but it looks like a small one i am planning to get a little more info when i go back.
