| I am still saying M.gibbosus. You can keep them exactly the same as M.martensii. | |

I think it look great Maybe it's my preference, slate-wise, one would suffice for an enclosure that size. I prefer to put some barks in, they are light and will not "crush" a burrowing scorpion and they double up as hide for scorpion to burrow under and a mating ground as well. For all communal enclosure's, it would be ideal that at least 70% of the ground surface area is covered up, with several hiding spots.

| the rocks are stabile, so little chance for crushing the scorps i think that more than 70% of the ground is covered there | |

| I agree with the previous comments. They look like M. gibbosus.
Just keep the substrate dry and offer them a small capful of water each 10-15 days.

| No problem then. It's a matter of preference. As long as the basic husbandry as met e.g. as noted by DolbyR, there shouldn't be any issues. Keep up the good work. | |

| keep in mind that some species have fairly long gestation periods. A year or more and she may not show for much of it. Other girls like my Lq didn't really appear pregnant until babies started coming out. So it's hard to know and I'm doubting if you'll see much this soon.
Have you tried mating her again? If she tail whips and pushes the male away constantly it's a bit of a tell that she's already gravid.

| Mesobuthus usually has a gestation of 6-9 months so its still a long wait. | |

| I'm not sure if i've missed your other threads but i think what you might wish to do first is to get a positive ID on their sex and age(adult?). Has it been discussed yet? | |

| GS you're like a modern day Walter Cronkite with your hard hitting search for the truth.
But in all seriousness that would be a great way of figuring out if your she will ever get gravid.
