| Well if you're looking for 100% accuracy ID'ing a morph , pics that have color distortion doesnt really help Try to get some better shots because as of now it looks like a standard ball Best of luck | |

Best of luck +1 If you can't get hold of a better camera, try to get atleast some shots outside in sunlight (if weather conditions in your area allow it at this time of year).

| I'll see if I can't get some pics outside next week. I'm leaning towards standard Ball though. Thank you Gentlemen. | |

| The first two pics say it all. Wildtype aka normal ball python. Nothing wrong with that though. Personally I love normals just as much as the fancy . Enjoy your soon to be fat lazy snake. I frequent ballpythons.net and everyone and there mother that gets a bp creates a post thinking they have some other kind of morph. Quite entertaining. | |

| HAHA Thanks Shining. I was fairly sure she was just a normal but there were a couple spots that had me wondering and I know NOTHING about judging the morphs. There are just too many out there. I am perfectly content with a normal, heck I got her for free, and will be perfectly happy with her for years now. Thanks again bro!

| It does have a very interesting pattern along it's spine. If you breed it to another BP with irregular patterning, you will get babies with irregular patterning and if you keep doing that you will have some very interesting looking Ball Pythons. I think they call it selective breeding. The same sort of thing they do with the Red Milksnakes, they keep breeding ones with less body markings and more red colour till they have achieved almost Solid Red Milksnakes. | |

+1 I tend to actually prefer wild types or "natural" morphs. I'm not a big fan of so called "designer" morphs.

| Yea, I think she's gorgeous the way she is, I don't mind having a normal color morph at all. I do like the Bumble bee morphs and the piebalds and I LOVE the blue Eyed Leucistics (?) but the normals are just as awesome in my mind. But I will try to get some pics of her outside in natural lighting so she doesn't look so gold. | |
