| I was looking around, and saw someone mention a blue scorpion species, so I looked it up, and got pictures of tattoos scorps under uv light, and a few boats and a green scorp. I did find this though http://www.google.com/imgres?q=blue+scorpion&um=1&hl=en&client=safari&sa=N&rls=en&authuser=0&biw=1024&bih=669&tbm=isch&tbnid=N1ZvKgMEIuJ4mM:&imgrefurl=http://tywkiwdbi.blogspot.com/2009/03/igor-siwanowicz-photography.html&docid=_aWIU5K2nqd45M&imgurl=http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SqhhJb_P3Kk/Say9caLFN2I/AAAAAAAAFis/_LHXbeg5lgI/s400/blue%252Bscorpion.jpg&w=400&h=266&ei=yzpOUI3ZA-ji2QWiuIDADQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=95&vpy=192&dur=274&hovh=183&hovw=275&tx=164&ty=69&sig=103428623656401116620&page=1&tbnh=137&tbnw=185&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:102 Is this real or just spray painted cuz it looks fake to me . If there is a blueish species, let me know where i get my hands on One. | |

+1 The Cubans call them "alacran azul" (blue scorpion) I've also seen different Heterometrus being referred as "Asian Giant Blue Scorpion". But the scorpion in the pictures is not any of them. Looks more like a Parabuthus spp.

+1. Definitely taken partially under a blacklight and probably edited with some program. I accomplished something similar with my C. gracilis:
