This Rhopalurus garridoi Breeding Project started with a small group of 2.instar scorplings. They were raised from juvenile to adulthood and i have mated the adults in their pairs. Now, it's time to enjoy the "fruits of labour"
I've managed to document the full breeding journey of these gorgeous Rhopalurus garridoi which will be put up at [ASA] All-Scorpion-Archives.
Please allow some time for me to sort out the massive amount of photos/videos and documentation to share with you guys.
Of the top of my head, the following are some categories which will be included in this Rhopalurus garridoi caresheet:
Picture documentation with write-up: - Husbandry - Molting concerns - Breeding concerns - Sexual dimorphism - Maturity - Growth (Full recorded molting intervals) - Mating an adult pair - Gestation period - Documentation on signs of embryos - Brooding enclosure for the gravid females - Birthing - Raising the young instars
Video documentation: - Mating attempts (from introduction of the male all the way till the acceptance of spermatophore by the female) - Birthing/ Macro of the 1.instar - Macro on the 2.instar
Regards, GS

As usual, I'm extremely impressed with your captures. Now, my only question to you is, when are you sending me some of the offspring? Kidding, of course... or am i?

Great looking species buddy! And needless to say, awesome shots! I like how you use naturalistic elements to bring out the scorpions' coloration.

The granulation pattern on the Rhopalurus genus makes them all aesthetically pleasing, but this species appears more pronounced, probably because of the light coloration. Beautiful captures as always, GS.
