| Please take a picture of their chelae. It's easier to sex them based on chelae, as H. petersii doesn't show sexual dimorphism in PTC (pectine tooth-count). | |

| The pics are a bit blurry to be perfectly honest.
In pic one, I'm leaning towards male.
In pics pics two and three, the operculum seems to look closer to a female. However, from the angle of the pics, combined with the camera flash, it's a bit hard to tell.
As Dolby said though, in this species the males will have a enlarged tibial tooth on the chela. | |
