| A friend of mine decided he no longer wanted his P.cavimanus so he gave it to me for free and ive never kept one so far but from what im seeing i see male but i figured a second opinion was always great - Spoiler:

| Yup, male. Here is a link: Pandinus cavimanus sexual dimorphism.
The things to look for between a female cav and an emp isn't necessarily the color but the shape of the chelae and how smooth they are. (Obviously, you can also sex them by looking at the pectines and operculum.) | |
