| Cool, if he is a male do you think he's one molt away from mature? He's a good bit smaller than my last female emperor... Also man, I just was looking at some of your pictures, the H Coronatus mantis drinking from that spoon... wow... that was such an awesome photograph. | |

| Post a shot of him next to a ruler. Thanks for the mantis compliment. Photocredit goes to my fiancee, 'cause I was holding the mantis and the spoon. (But she messed around with the aperture settings and kind of washed out some of the pics.) | |

| Aye, I don't know where the dent would be or what it looks like... I've looked on pandinus.com and a few other references and I cannot tell if Tenacious has it or not... also, the dent appears in sexually mature adults right? So if he's not old enough it wont show? I'm not sure if I care the sex either way now, lol... but I definitely need to know for breeding... hehe | |

| Ahah, nice specimen. Do you know if the prominent tooth on the movable finger comes in sub adult? Or same kind of deal with the dent? | |

| So by the length of Tenacious would you say he's mature? One molt away? I'm thinking one molt away myself... since he seems to be male but doesn't have the dominant features (dent and tooth). I've never had a scorpion molt before... I know they swell kinda like gravid/fat looking... How long do Imps and Cavs stay in the last instar (before being mature)? Thanks all for the help... just when I gave up and thought Tenacious was a full grown lady... | |
