| it's her. i'm using exo terra sand, about 4 inches depth. never mist the enclosure as the humidity here already about 60-70%. desert hairy are very sensitive to humidity (imo). but i mist the bottom of the sand using tube-like pump (i'm using disposable pasteur pipette) in order to make sure her burrow is stable. fasting period began on 25th June 2011, taking about 3 month to molt. one day before molting (2nd pic), she was inactive. and that time, i'm guessing she'll molt in one or two days. i dropped about 2ml water beside her when molting process begun. she was monitored every 15 minutes from the molting started that taking about 4 hours as i can remember.. | |
