Feeding a communal group of 2.instar scorplings with B.lateralis juvenile roaches.

What is a good frequency for feeding these young ones? I didn't see it listed, but wouldn't be the 1st time I've read something and not realized it.

sir GS i'd like to ask how do you catch nymphs and newly hatch blatta lateralis feeders without crushing them ?
I always seem to crush them by my tweezers whenever I try to feed my Slings

Two methods:

1. Go light on your tweezers

2. If you are using layers of egg crates in your roach colony.
Do throw in some torn up corners of the egg crates into the same roach enclosure.
These small bits of of the egg crates (e.g. 5cm by 5cm) serves as a quick shortcut to get access to some roached during your scorpion's feeding time. If there aren't any roach on them during the time you open up the enclosure, simply do a mini "earthquake" to the colony and you'll find plenty running up the smaller pieces of egg crates for your usage.

Once there are plenty roach on the smaller torn-up piece of the egg crates, grab it (with your tongs if you want) and put it into a vertical container, shake the roaches into the container and you may probably feed the adult/ sub-adult roaches to the adult scorpions and leave the newly hatched inside.

You may now offer these newly hatched roached to your smaller slings/ scorplings like how you would offer tic-tac to your friends
