| Nice and healthy scorps Wont they take the blatta lateralis? I find that some scorps are too lazy to take them because they are so fast Or not interested in them at all :S | |

Wont they take the blatta lateralis? I find that some scorps are too lazy to take them because they are so fast Or not interested in them at all :S This is an occasional "FATTY treat" for them. Their usual diet are: 85% B.Lateralis roach, 10% Crickets 5% Mealworm - Roblicious wrote:

Its bad lightings.. it is not white but "orangey" for one of the 6i female. I've a few adult pairs (in separate breeding enclosures), what is featured in this vid is one 7i male and two 6i female. In order of their appearance, the first and last emp are females.

| I tried your method with my gal............either she don't like the way the worms feel or she isn't interested in them for some reason. She grabs em but then lets go.
Unfortunately, I had to pester her because she dropped one right underneath her in her hide and they dig fast, so I had to take her out, churn up her dirt and she had to remodel LOL. It was cute tho watching her pull extra dirt out of the hide.....I'm sure she was grumbling the whole time.

| My emp grabbed my feeding tongs the other day and almost pulled them out of my hand. The strength of these critters is really impressive. The feeders don't have a chance. | |

| I like how that one cockroach came up to check out what was going on during the "food lure" part, only to quickly realize he shouldn't be getting that close. My girl will take a worm sometimes, but I really have to coax her into it. ONCE - the first time - I just dropped it in front of her to watch it disappear into the dirt. Bought tongs the next day. She likes the nice soft crickets. And I've seen her snatch up one of the isopods for a snack. Cool vid.

| Great vid GS. She does seem to pull a lot. I feed my hets the same way but they don't pull that hard. It's funny though when they have a mealie in the chelicerae and one in each chelae. | |

I think I'll just give up on superworms. Last one dug into my emp's burrow after she grabbed it and dropped it. Then it just laid there, annoying her when it moved around. Sat in there for 2 days. About an hour ago I guess she had enough and carried it out only to deposit it on her doorstep and go back into her burrow in disgust. Almost like she was saying, "Here. You can take this thing back and get me something I actually like!" Funny as hell. So yeah... not a fan of superworms, apparently.
