I've been quite happily lurking these forums for a while now but unfortunately, I'm really worried about little Frankie so finally got round to making account.
First off, he hasn't been eating. I know lots of people post about this and it's always nothing to worry about so at first I thought nothing of it. The problem is, it's been well over a month now. Also, he hardly ever drinks, though I mist him so that could explain why he isn't thirsty.
The main reason I'm concerned is that I had noticed some small, pale blotches on his cuticle. I monitored these and while they haven't gotten bigger over time, they seem slightly deeper as if the cuticle is wearing away. I'm worried this may be a bacterial infection though I've no idea how that could have happened. I don't have a camera so I'm afraid I can't upload pictures for a proper diagnosis but basically, I'm wondering if this sounds like a bacterial infection and if it is, is there anything I can do? I really don't want to lose him.
EDIT - Forgot to mention, he has been acting completely normally (other than the not eating). He's been just as active as ever and I still see him cleaning himself regularly. Not sure if that information helps at all.
I've had a scorp hide for well Over 5 months without eating or drinking, I'm not sure what u mean by cuticle but if it's the joints yr referring too its normal for them to appear white compare to there exo
