| I would give 4-5 mealies once a week. But I'd advice you to feed crickets or roaches, they're much healthier for your scorpion. | |

how much money do you actually need to buy some crickets??? and about the meal worms, i try not to feed too much of any meals worms bc of its high fat content, maybe sometimes for a snack once every 2 weeks. Buy some cricket protein jelly food and fatten them up and then feed, the scorpions love it!

| yeah mealies should only be used as a kind of treat foos really now and again they are very fatty and dont really have anything good for your scorp, i would advise sticking to crickets roaches and locusts and feeding mealies maybe once a week | |

| I use mealies for slings only. - Quote :

According to feeder charts available online, they actually appear to have a higher protein content than crickets, but the high fat content (over 2 times the one of crickets) is the biggest minus.

| Id vote for skiping both Tenebrio molitor and Zophobas morio, just go with a few roach species, they are alot easier to raise than worms. | |

| I agree on raising Z. morio, but there's nothing easier to breed than Tenebrio. You can just throw them in a bucket of bran and leave them be and they'll breed with no care.
Roaches are indeed easy to breed. I'm waiting my S. tartara colony to stabilize so I can start feeding off from them. I want a dubia colony too but I can't get them locally from anywhere so that I could start.

| I would also advice against keeping a large number of B. dubia, many people get allergic, me being one of them. S. tartara (synonym with Shelfordella lateralis) are great roaches to keep, they breed FAST and the nymphs are very meaty and tiny, so great for little scorplings. | |

| What species do you keep Will? My first nymphs started appearing about a month ago. Now I just need to wait them to grow and start the breeding cycle again and I'll be ready | |

| I could get N. cinerea locally, but I'm not a big fan of climbers. | |
