Yeah, they're now maybe 1cm excluding tail and pedipalps. Will measure them when they get off her back and rehoused. Hopefully in a couple of years they'll grow to be a nice solid breeding group.

| DolbyR are you going to sale any? Let me know they should be just the right size by the time it warms up. | |

Most likely not from this brood. I want to make a full study on the development of the whole brood. And besides, I can't readily find these locally. I am planning on importing a male in the spring though and try to mate her. But if I get tight on space, I might let a couple go in the future, but it won't be before they grow up enough to be reliably sexed.

| Sounds good! just keep me in mind if you run out of space. There is someone here that has a female that's he says is about to pop and I plan on get some from him. I just got 2 T. Stigmurus from him and they are in great shape, so I trust his care. | |

As of yesterday morning, there were 5 or 6 out of her back and wandering around. Hoping the rest will come down the next days so that I can take her out of the way and start rehousing the little ones.

| Sweet mate! I count 22 in the last pic. Isn't it funny how all Hets look the same as babies.
You out of the woods now they're eating.

20 more or less doesn't make a big difference Took a fast peak this morning, looks like all are down now. Hopefully they stay that way until I get back home so I can separate them. Taking the mother out of the enclosure will be the most "fun". A heavy, strong scorpion is not too easy to lift with tweezers. Might have to use my hands and risk getting pinched.

| Yep, headcrushed baby mealies. Just finished separating them. All 23 babies are now housed separately. Was not the easiest task to move mum. She was hissing like crazy and ready to rip me in pieces. | |

+1 The mom seems to have calmed down significantly now too. Has started digging too, for the first time ever. She will soon get an upgraded tank with higher substrate. The young should get heating soon too. It's getting too cold at home atm.

Yep, some are starting to look like premolt already and they've all slowed down on food.

| As promised - one of the babies next to a beer bottle cap (that's the most "international" object in terms of size that I could find. | |

| All young seem to be getting closer to molting. Unfortunately lost 2 this weeks, so I'm down to 21. Not sure what was the reason for these 2 to die, moisture, ventilation and temps are fine.
I did have an accident with a can of self-defense "pepper-spray" in my living room, so that could be a possibility.
