How big is your N. chromatus? Any clue at which instar it is now?

Thanks .Her current body size, im not sure, previous size molt measured at 4.5inches/11.4cm. As to what instar, im not sure. I got her at quite a fairly large instar, so im not sure what her instar is.

Nice size already! Mine is still quite small, under 1" legspan, although it's at its 6th or 7th instar.

Yeah tarantula instars are weird thats why i never bother :p. Im guessing she is now 5"+. I think she may be nearing adulthood.

Yeah, could be subadult at that size. I believe they get 6-7"+ as adults.
How's the temperament? Can it be easily handled?

Nope, would recommend handling. She rears up at roaches passing her only to dink her fangs in them. Her hairs are also not a nice feeling. I almost handled her before but her fangs scared me :p.
