P. imperator or P. cavimanus

Got this girl today. Hoping she's gravid. She is infact a mature female, but here's my problem. I'm wondering if you guys can help me out. The petstore was selling her as a P. imperator, but someone else said she's a P. cavimanus. Plus her colors look more like the cavimanus. Her claws make me think emp. Help me out? Thanks!

p. cavimanus???? Not real sure. BTW it's a nice looking Scorpion though!

Thanks! Yeah, I looked around a bit and asked others who had owned a few and she is likely a P. cavimanus. But that's ok. All that means is I now have two females of these and one or both might be gravid. Time to go on the hunt for a male.

Deffo a cav I would say

I have to.say a cavimanus as well. The colors are just like a cavimanus. I have a fiesty female and will have a male soon.

Female Pandinus cavimanus claws look similar to emps. The shape is slightly different though. Here is a link.

The things to look for between a female cav and an emp isn't necessarily the color but the shape of the chelae and how smooth they are.
It's kinda hard to tell since i've had red colored emperors that look identical to that, to me it has the chelae of an emperor from the roughness and how the back of the chelae curve back into themselves like an emperor and unlike a cav.
Though I'll only be certain once it pops and your offspring reach about 4i so I can see if they have the cavi chelae indent which indicates male.

looks more like a red emp to me
