well i'm not calling them anything different
as you say, they're being sold as Vaejovis, until the names come into popular usage then there's no point

Lots of things are being sold as old/non-existing species (Pandinus militaris being one of them).
Just because the dealers are ignorant and/or don't know about the changes, doesn't mean we here should be too. After all, we're here not just to have fun, but also to provide information to other people interested.
I personally prefer to use the most updated taxonomical definition for each scorpion or T.

Tom, if you find a detailed taxa update on the avics, let me know as I haven't been able to find anything specific.

Scientific names change all the time.
You need to keep up and get used to new names, if they are changed it's because they are wrong, not just cause someone doesnt like it.
King Baboon was C. crawshayi for YEARS, long as I can remember in fact but it was discovered last year that it was an incorrect id. Everyone now has to learn that it's really P. muticus.
Some dont like it but it's tough. You wouldnt call someone a name you just thought was theirs... if you found out my name isnt actually Mark but is REALLY Peloquin then why call me Mark?
