Im fairly positive its a female like yours Street. But I dont think its adult yet.

Oh yeah I just looked at the Chela. I didn't even look at that before.

Jup its very easy on Parabuthus species. You can see the body is leaning kinda toward the female side too.. Havent really checked on yours but I'll do now. I thought it was female.

Mine is female. I checked it's pectines.

Yeah im pretty positive its a female im not to good at sexing scorps but im learning.
@streettrash i dont think that thorn branch is too much of issue ive watch her quite a bit and she never attempted to climb it in four weeks ive had her shes more interested in digging hides, but if i do see her try to climb it i will take it out

I love the Parabuthus species, for awhile i wanted some Androtucus but these are way cooler, their like the little pitbulls of the scorpion world

Its up to you to do with it what you want ofcourse, but what Street said is no bad advice. It's not decorative either imho, but ok I have no taste

If you put her into a clear tub and look at her pectines she'll have knobs at the top where they meet. Scroll down three or so posts for a picture from GS showing what to look for. link

The scorp in that picture is a transvaalicus, but the knob on the pectines is present for the entire genus' females.

Thanks ill def give that a try, and yeah i guess ill remove the brach i kinda liked it though but if its harmful for the scorpion i dont want it in there

Yeah. The membrane between the tergites would easily be penetrated by that.
