An Androctonus is a FAT tail, meaning it has a huge, FAT tail carrying on its back. It is more venomous and its overall size is way smaller than a Parabuthus
A Parabthus is a thick tail, meaning it has a fairly large tail considering its bodysize. Less obvious than FAT tails, but still.. in comparison with other scorpions, a huge tail. It is hairier, more robust, way larger and less venomous. On the other hand, because it is larger it delivers a lot more venom and some subspecies of them can even squirt venom 3 feet far and away.
Both are desert species, both are active whereas Parabuthus species generally can be seen more out in the open.
