Just coco fiber with some bark and some fake plant thing that was it then chucked her in ( she was tiny when i first got her) has grown loads now but that tank should do her for life really, don't fancy rehousing she's too good at teleporting, its the 12x12x12 "

nah a 1.5'' spider would be better off in somthing like 5x4x4

Mine was quite happy in their from and inch, as they are arboreal they love climbing around, still caught its prey fine, so I don't see a problem

That's good to know Bex. The only thing that has stopped me from taking a pokie until now, is that rehousing a bigger one would freak me out

What people will sometimes do is either put the old enclosure inside the new one and wait for them to just walk into the new one or put the openings adjacent and coax the spider...usually they will end up running right into the other one.

You got no chance of fitting and short exo inside a tall one of the same size!

Better get your hands in there Bex and catch her!

Na, as Ludedor said, you could put the doors together and cover the gap at the top of the door on the tall exo and let her rehouse herself.

Pokies will be better off in a tall tank. What kind of temperament does the pokie have? I dealt with theonly arboreal spider I have had to rehouse (calceatum) in the bathroom so it had no where to teleport to! Just keep in mind that the arboreals jump about n S*** and aggressive arboreals are not good spiders to deal with if you are jumpy with tarantulas. But they are pretty.

I lost a lividum sling that ran off and still haven't found it. Dunno where it is. Lol.

right thought i might let you guys know that i stroked the regalis yesterday lolz ......crazy yes but i was cleaning the glass on the inside (with tissue on a stick lol) in the hope of getting some pics and she just crawled into the bottom corner so i carried on cleaning...... the stick tissue thing wasnt working so well so i thought sod it ill stick my hand in as she seems calm, and she just sat there pretty much while i cleaned around her lol ....crawled along a tiny bit when i accidently touched her with the tissue but thought hey she hasnt attacked yet ill sneak a little finger stroke lol

while attepmt to get some pics tomorrow i dont have any good lighting so its quite hard to do atm
