| can i grow real plants in with my emperor scorpion i noticed a little plant thing growing off the piece of wood i have in it for its hide and was wondering if its okay to grow plants in with it | |

| Yes you can use live plants. Venus fly traps might eat the food items. I use pothos plants, they are sort-of like vines if you want a vine plant. | |

| Sure you can grow plants in there, it's no problem and I do it all the time. Just remember to research those plants to see if they are toxic to animals. Who knows, prey may chew on those plants and it may end up badly for the scorpion. I've kept toxic, but common household plants in my tanks many times, but I had no issues with my scorpions or prey items. | |
