| Hey chief, it was a one time thing. Settle yourself.
And I tell my experiences so others can learn from my mistakes after I have, not to be judged by the Scorpion Police Squad.

| We actually sat on the floor indian style, all the animals were locked out, and we just let her roam back and forth between us............. I used the example in the vid where he scooted the scorp from behind......it worked very well, she walked right onto my hand no problem. | |

| my 3 adults are pretty gentle and take to handling pretty well. generally what i tend to do is put both of my hands in near one of them and kind of gently scoop them up from underneath (usually bringing up some substrate with it). once they are in my hand they are very docile and curious. My juvenile female however is very feisty and will pinch at anything that moves lol. | |

| I just read your very mature reaction thanks to someone pointing me to this because I didnt see it. Cool, I like 'emos'. I may be concerned about some people keeping scorpions, and proud of it to make some guys go boom, but you're actually pretty simple seeing you're not learning from your mistakes. Thats is just a new level of idiocy reached, even for me! Thanks! They are animals, no marbles. And thats all the effort from me you're going to get. Scream and go baby all you want, sometimes it (the person) is just not worth it. Not even reading it. Ontopic Even though I dont recommend handling, there are people who try to do it properly and dont need false information. 1 they shouldnt have ANY distance to fall. Keep whatever it is walking on next to a soft spot where it CANT fall. 2 you dont pick Pi's up by the tail, ever. You coach it onto your hand 3 they are not hard as nails, their exo might be, whats in it, isnt. If it breaks, its a goner. If it gets busted internally, its a goner. 4 you want a pet you can touch, get a dog or a cat. They even remember you, as to an invert you're just a big shade. 5 if you really want to touch it, do it safely, for the scorpion and dont mind getting pinched or stung. | |
