| Ok. A non-related question, have you noticed a color difference in sub-adults and adults? | |

| Not really, no. Subadult female, adult male: I guess the male is a little duller-colored. Adult female and male: The male is still a tad on the dull side. Looking at your original pictures, I'd say at least one (possibly both) are in premolt, so we'll find out soon. | |

| My larger specimen is on the dull side as opposed to the smaller but much brighter specimen.
From the first picture, I can see that both of them are housed together which means you kept sub-adults and adults communally?

| Actually, I didn't realize the females were subadult until after one molted. No cannibalisms, though -- one died mysteriously ( ), one died of mycosis, and the other is still alive (but my male died; hopefully they mated while they were together for two weeks). Yeah, I had bad luck with this species when they got close to maturity. They did great when they were young, though! | |

| Ah, how many Jacksonis do you have at the moment and do you have any idea what their lifespan is like? | |

| I'm down to my one mature female -- I don't know the lifespan, but I got her as either a 2I or 3I just over a year ago. | |

| When did she hit maturity then? Might be able to conjure a rough possibility of its lifespan. | |

| February 21st.
The male was mature for about seven moths before he died -- he matured at the end of August last year.

| And I assume you got him together with the female which was early last year? Pretty rapid growth rate I would say. | |

| Yeah, the male matured about three and a half months after I got him -- but he may have been one of the 3Is. | |

| Cool. Now I know that females take 6 more months to mature compared to males. | |
