Then you should be fine. Personally I'd recommend moving them into their own enclosure. Most people keep them individually as youngsters, but many people have great success raising baby emperors communally. You just don't want the mother to grab one for dinner.

When we first discovered they were in there she was being very protective of them. A few times when one of them moved near her she grabbed at them like they were food, but put them right back down after I guess she realized they weren't crickets haha

So the mother is now hanging out around the tank and hasn't been in the hide for a few days, should I be worried this is gonna end like it did with the scorpion originally mentioned in this thread?

Sorry to hear that I guess she wanted to be alone and eventually killed him. Maybe she stung him badly in a vulnerable place. Grats on the emp babys tho
