Strange first death

So today after I got home from school, my girlfriend noticed my C. Sculpturatus was hanging from a strip of vine by its tail. Not thinking much I moved her off the vine and she was really stiff. I had read that this species especially, has been known for "playing dead" so I left her there. After more than 8 hours she hasnt moved. So now Im assuming shes gone. I got her as my first scorpion in June of 09 as an adult, so I was wondering if the death could be natural or if it could be a result of the way I found her?

she was probably old and just died where she was ,I've found some in odd positions like that without any reason.

I doubt the way she was hanging was what killed her. My Other C.'s molt like that so its very possible that it was a molting problem....I often find mine dangling with nearly all the body on the ground and the tail and back legs still attached to the bark during there molts....

they are short lived so its clock just stopped most likely
