| Hmmm, ok looking, not quite as flicky but a lot of them are bad tempered. Massive improvement on a smithi though. | |

| Much better looking to my eye than a rosea though. I would have taken the pulchra but being just with a single color, it was too boring for her. I'm looking for a cyanopubescens now though for her, but they're nearly imposible to find here. | |

| Well good choice! They are like smithi. A bit more stretched out and darker. Basically the only difference in Mexican Flame Knees (this one) and Red knees. | |

| I can usually get cyanopubescens spiderlings. I'm happy to try get one and send it out to you but it'd have to be your risk mate. I couldn't guarantee live arrival but cant see much of a problem mate. | |

| Thanks for the offer mate, I guess as long as it's during the summer period and temps are fine, it shouldn't be a big problem. I was waiting a friend to confirm whether he can find them from CZ, a he is goind in a couple of weeks to take some inverts and herps from there. But if you do find something, just PM me with the costs and we may work something out.. june 16th is coming soon too, as my idea was to get it for my wife for our wedding anniversary lol. Btw. She and the auratum are getting along well. Still a little hesitant about handling but she's very interested and wants to handle it, etc. And she-she (she named her that way, as I always mix up the genders of ours animals when talking about 'em) seems very docile so far. She hasn't even attempted to flick hairs yet. | |

| She should till molt 1 or 2 times (so I was told). Measured the body earlier - exactly 4cm, so roughly 1.4 in. | |

| I believe these can grow to 6 inch legspans.. so it has quite some margin to grow still! | |

| If you can get a pic with it next to something like a tape measure I can tell you how much bigger it'll get. If it's female it'll just keep moulting for the rest of it's life. It just gets longer in between moults the bigger/ older they get. | |

| If it's a female, you can easily expect it to double from that size, a male, while still large, are a bit smaller than the females usually. These are a bigger spider than people think.

| It's a female. I know nothing about sexing T's, but the friend I bought it from, has been breeding for some years and guaranteed it's a female. She's hasn't flicked no hairs atleast yet. Very docile specimen, so docile even my wife handles her How's the temperament of cyaneopubescens? Do they flick or bite much? | |

| cyaneopubescens are quite nervous and move fast. They dont tend to flick but I def wouldnt trust one to hold it. They are quick enough to strike at anything you put in front of them. | |

I re-housed mine into a bigger enclosure the other day and now she strikes at everything too with vengeance Luckily I touched her with tweezers first and not my finger like usual lol maybe they don't feel as secure in more open areas, do you think she'll grow out of it when she grows into the tank, should I downsize again or just live with an aggy chaco Nice T dolby mate.
