| https://scorpionforum.darkbb.com/t2164-hot-box-tutorialCheck out this link. It works well if your scorps are still small enough to go in deli cups/small tupperware containers. You just stack them up in there. Also if you are worried about keeping them too warm in it, you can just use the one pad on the side. The shop where I get most of my inverts uses this method, but they have them in a small glass tank instead of a styrofoam cooler. | |

| What you can do is set up an enclosed area such as a box-type enclosure and line the walls with insulation (I used aluminum foil to reflect my infrared heat bulb). My "box" was one of those wardrobe furniture pieces. I then had a heat lamp inside of it and had the doors closed whenever I wasn't doing maintenance. It kept the inside nice and cozy for my inverts. What you can also do is make a setup in the style of keeping roaches. This requires a large tub and then you can cut a hole at the top, line it with metal mesh or some other material, and place the heat lamp over it. I'm sure you can stick a heat mat underneath if it's modified so it doesn't melt. The key to making the most out of the light/heat is to insulate the enclosure or use reflective material. There's a lot of stuff you can mess around with to fit your needs | |
