hi everyone, got the crickets in a faunarium, i thought i saw a bug. i never got chance to catch it. today, i found it so decided to put it in a little tub. anybody know what is is and what it's for? thanks Tom

The common name for it is Wooly Bear. They clean up cricket crap etc... Don't let tgem loose though, they can get through carpet quickly.lol.

i'm not going to chance letting him out. looks like it is a dermestid beetle larvae. very efficient cleaners. so much so, that that forensic people use them to clean up bone etc

*UPDATE* oh well, it has 6 legs now, must have molted or something, looks like a pupae now

Yeah they turn into tiny beetles they fly!

the beetles look cool, i'm hoping to grow it up. the pot is covered lol
