| hi everyone, i'm new to the hobby, i currently have 2 e. flavicaudis, who are currently doing fine just wandering...... what temperature and humidity do emps need to be kept at? will they need a constant supply of heat and some sort of het light? it's just because i only have 2 more plugs in my room lol (damned fish heater, filter, 2 lights) thanks in advance tom | |

| it depend what size scorpion you get really if your getting a young one you will only need a small tub like a 8x5x5" like this but if you get an adult one you will need something bigger we kept our single emp in a 60x45x45cm exo terra (now it houses 3 emps) but you could something smaller than that i rekon a 24x8x8 inch would be big enough for an adult emp like what we have our swammerdami in atm oh and our new P.cavs are in that size too these... its up to you really, you want something big enough so they can wonder round and explore its just you dont want something overly big when they are little so they can get there food easier, also if you have something too big it just makes it harder to heat really | |

| they don't hold hands, they court eahc other for hours, the female lays the eggs, then the male does his job. the female then kills the male if she feels it is a threat (happened to my convict cichlid) | |
