| The black one is a male but i am not sure about the brown one i will try to get a pic of pectines of both scorpions for you to decide the sexes xD i dont have much experience with sexing

| I think if hes got hiding places he doenst need really high substrate, there is a guy that made his H Long enclosure with about 3 inches of substrate, but he had the most natural looking enclosure ever and housed a few of those guys in there too. | |
