| Hey everyone, I looked in my alligator lizard's setup today to find this complete skin: I tried getting a good shot of it using its prehensile tail, but I failed lol He's a very cool little guy who is active and eats quite a lot! | |

| Thanks man, I caught the little guy not too long ago on a herping trip. It was by chance I spotted him too because I was busy hunting another type of lizard. | |

Thanks Bedlam Bex: To be honest, I'm still boggled at the diversity we have here just in the state of California. I often look at threads people post of their herping trips and I'm shocked at what species is around and the variety as well. Here's a couple of threads on their finds in my state just to give you an idea: http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5393&sid=4e6331f2a97abe7d12b496f987749f20 http://www.fieldherpforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=5359&sid=4e6331f2a97abe7d12b496f987749f20 I haven't even seen anything close to what they're finding and I'm drooling over all of them! I really need to kick up my herping trips lol | |

| That last lizard was so cute! That's awesome the most we would find would be a grass snake if we lucky and a frog maybe, used to see newts running about when I was a kid, and we had an adder in our back garden when I was about 4 and my dad got it on a showel and put it in the field behind the house, that's the only adder I've ever seen though, the wall where the scorpions are in the uk is littered with tube web spiders, the are quite cool I suppose | |
