My chaco golden knee has had a molt but its old 'skin' is still slightly attatched at the very back of the abdomon (spelling). he seems to be ok,, he is still moving about fine n etc.. but its been attatched for about 4 days now. i dont really know if i should pull it off or not. this is my first T and ive never had this problem with any of my scorps before so i dont really know what to do. cheers. i can get pics if you wanna see.

| Ok fella this will also account for, for future moults First thing first, because of the 4 day span, of the exo being stuck, i first want you to put water on the area with a Q-TIP or a twisted peice of tissue. Dab the are with water several times in the space of 2 mins, so say for that 2 mins, dab the area with water say about, 6 times !! I want you to do this for 5 minuites straight, so that will be 15 times dabbed with water. I want you to use very very VERY mild warm water (*almost cold*)... after that 5 minuite period of dabbing water on, take your tweezers and hold onto the old EXO (moult) and do not pull. just hold it. Then try and encorage the spider to walk, this way the spider will react accordingly with just enough pull to allow the moult to litterally pop off. DO NOT PULL !!!!! just hold in place. .......... If this does not work, do your best to remove the old moult, take as much of it away as possible. Good luck, and let me know the out come | |

| Sweet buddy glad you got it off, has it moulted any more times since you got it? Remember we got our G. pulchripes around the same time, mine has only moulted the once. Yeah I see you pop up on xbox live every now and then. Definatly mate, still smashing Battlefield aint ya? Oh and hope you don't mind I saw you had a scorpion pet with your avatar, I just had to have one aswell haha Shame about your Het. sp. Bex Did you see that my Scorpio maurus died? How's yours doing? Now that I think of it I'm not very happy with the Scorpio maurus BugzUK sold me, if you remember they were sold under large but mine was tiny. I saw the Scorpio maurus Scorpio from here (confusing I know) brought at the seas show and it was 4-5 times the size. | |

No I didn't see that did you post on here? Sorry to hear that do you know why it died? Ours was sold as adult too but they are tiny and funnily one of ours was a mysorensis lol if you remember so not 100% sure that Martin is on the ball if you know what I mean, we have had 2 orders messed up and he's been good about it but think he's more into T's n stuff than scorpions.... Maybe..... I dunno lol, ours are still all alive at the mo And yeah I saw one at the show on polypeds ( can't even remember if that what it's called ) stand and it was twice the size of ours so am real confused, also had our hardy sold as an adult from predator or prey an she's tiny too

| Nope don't know why it died, wasn't a bad molt or anything. Yeah I remember your two orders, not good really but at least you gained from it It's a shame because he has the best selection of scorps on the net in the UK I think. That's it Polyped, I keep forgetting that too. | |

| Yours will be fine, I must have done something wrong.
Baby madras is doing good, looks like it's about to explode so reckon a molt will be soon.
If you remember I got an adult female and male from the show. I'm planning on trying to mate them soon.

| Yeah I'd definitely sort out you and Manser If the pairing works out. I know you two asked when I had the spinigerus babies but that didn't work out. These should be easier to raise. | |

| Lol dunno if the tanks I have are suitable for a T these are the 3 empty ones one an aquaseal so no ventilation and the others are quite small/shallow | |

| Yeah I see what you mean. The Clearseal would be perfect for a T all through adult hood but as you say lid has no ventilation and they're not exactly the most secure lid are they. That's sort of why I went off them because of my nosey dogs. | |
