| I've given my scorpions crickets for about 3-4 weeks now, but I know a bit of diversity is good for them. Both are emperor juveniles and I wanted to feed them something a little bigger then mid size crickets or something completely different then crickets. Any suggestions? | |

| Mealworms are easy to come by (annoying that they burrow, though), but roaches are a great choice. | |

| +1 to Vin, they are good from time to time but definitely too fatty. To beat the borrowing issue pick up one of those small bowls or dedicate one you already have, they can't climb out of much and I think you could find something scorps can get in and out of but meal worms cannot. I'd worry that one would borrow away otherwise and come around when a scorp is in mid-molt or something. Maybe a bit unlikely but possible. Roaches are a great alternative and offer higher protein content than crickets Some like Blaptica Dubias are great, others on here have used some others I think Turkish and lobsters may be alright too, not 100% on those though. Some species like the Madagascar hissing cockroaches may get too big and have too hard of an exoskeleton though. So just look into it a bit. | |

| Yeah i'm probably gonna go with dubias. I tried tomato worms but they literally explode when the scorpions pinch them, and make a huge mess in my enclosure. None of my local pet stores sell mealworms :/ | |

| I've fed my Scorpions Crickets, Mealworms and I've thrown 2 lizards in their.
How often do you feed your Scorpions? I had 4 Adults and I just threw in 10 crickets every monday. They're usually all gone by the 4th day. I just lost an adult to what I suspect a territory battle. I now have 3 Adults and 2 Juveniles.

| Mine have had a cricket each in the lase week I think. I would drop 2 crickets every other day, but they got really fat. Now i'm keeping them in a diet.
What type of lizards have you given the scorpions?

| Haha. They really went to town on those lizards too. Those were the only two occasions I've seen my P. Imps use their stingers.
What do you mean by digging them up? The Scorpions?

| Well, what I did was throw the lizard in there and have it run around because all my scorps were in their burrows too. When I noticed one had came up from it's hide, I just re caught it and fed it to him. | |

| Well, one caught it in it's burrow, but the other put on a show for me and ate it out in the open. If that's the case, you could move the scorps to a separate feeding container or just block a hide.

| Agreed, I don't feel as if it's worth stressing them out and ruining their hide. But, just keep on the look out. It'll happen, and when that day comes... It'll be magical. Haha. Just Kidding. | |

| Usually one of them comes completely out during the night. I was gonna wait and block the burrow hole when they did and move them like that. | |
