| What country are you in? If your in the UK the choice is pretty limited but there seems to be alot of flat rock scorpions around at the moment. Very weird, squashed looking scorpions but one of my favourites. You could try some Heterometrus species. Generally a little more aggressive than emps theyre impressive scorpions and again there are a fair few different types around at the moment in the UK. If your in the US or anywhere else thats more lenient on what species you are allowed to keep then you will have alot more choice and itll be worth waiting for someone from there to give you advice on whats available and the next step. If you are in the UK though give us a shout and Ill give you links to some sites selling scorpions. | |

| i live in the US and was thinking about getting a species from florida. i am going there in about two weeks and if i spot one i will try to catch it. Are the florida species considered easy medium or hard to keep? | |

In all seriousness the next level is Buthids. Try something from the Centruroides species. | |
