| As per topic. I have them growing on the toothpicks I tied together to serve as a perch for my Lychas Mucronatus. Any idea what are they? =/
The enclosure is low in ventilation and humid. The toothpicks seem moist too after a day. Could it be fungi?

| Wood is a great host for mould and fungus. I had a bamboo skewer in one tank and the mould grew and propagated on it quite well. |

| best thing would be to keep changing them or not have them. Wet wood will always get fungus or mould xxxx | |

| Yep, sounds like mold. If you can replace it with something made from plastic, that should help. | |

Thanks alot guys and the girl. best of luck to you. L. mucronatus are such a stunning species, I've got a pair but one hasn't acclimated so I don't think it's going to last much longer. I give them a natural water dish and the active one can be observed at night hanging out at the edge of the dish.
