Large Emperor Not Eating

Hey guys my emperor isn't eating at all he ate once when i got him about a month ago and then hasn't touched a single cricket since. I was thinking maybe the tanks to big but honestly i don't think it has to do with that as he is a pretty large emperor. he's also extremely aggresive for an emperor if i open the top of his tank to move something pull out a cricket etc he will run from one side of the tank to the other and try pinch me :O He's awesome though! everything in his tank is right... the humidity,the temperatue the space and hides provided, he also has a water bowl, and i just can't get my head around why he's so aggresive and not eating :S

It's normal for them not to eat. Don't panic (see signature).

haha thanks also just wondering would roaches be ok to feed to him? hes 6 inches now so i don't know if i should or wait till hes larger?

I fed my enormous adult H. longimanus full-grown Blaberus fusca roaches without a problem. As long as the roach isn't so big that your scorp couldn't handle it with his pedipalps, it should be fine.

Just remember, if your scorp refuses prey for more than a day or two, just take the prey out and try again in a week.

And he won't get larger, sorry.

If hes 6 inches from tip to tail then hes probably about done growing...if the telson is a red/brown color thats it for you...Thats a big bug...
