Hey all!

I don't know if this is legal, but I found a topic on another forum that was about something truly amazing and stunning!

Not one but two double tailed scorpions in one breed and one makes it to adult!

Check it out here!

Enjoy! Shocked

Linking to forums is fine. Smile

Pretty bizarre-looking. I've seen a few reports of two-tailed scorpions, and it always looks weirder to me when the split occurs on the mesosoma. The others tend to have only one basal segment and two four-segmented tails.

The first one I read about made it to adulthood without a problem and even had a few broods, but all her offspring were of the one-tailed variety.

Wow, that was crazy. Did you randomly happen upon that or were you searching? Either way... thanks for sharing it! Very Happy

Yup, it's amazing. That person was able to get 2 of them to adulthood, I think. I've been seeing a few of them pop up over the past couple of months.

Yes, I don't believe it's a genetic mutation, but more a mutation happening in the development of the fetus! So the whole discussion to breed more twotailed isn't really possible! Still freaky and boy could he sell it for e few bucks Very Happy

I randomely stumbled upon it! I heard of two-tailed scorpions before, but never had it covered like in that topic, so thought it was pretty exciting! Scorpion mutant! 129887
