BTW noticed the stinger was brownish-red, so are you sure it's not an adult? As far as I know, it only turn brownish-red when it's adult (whitish as subadult)?

yeah that picture aint very good, its more of a dark white/real light brown when you see it in person, i think your right tho cos ive got 2 young spinifers and the stinger on them is bright white.
