I just got a Leiurus Quinquestriatus (death Stalker) in 5th instar, and as the topic says: How many instars does it have in total from newborn to adult? |

| im pretty sure they are fully mature at 6th instar man its been a while since i heard that question haha it can take a good while to go from birth to maturity with these guys but its cool to get them when they are young and raise them its neat to watch them grow up | |

| Okay, thanks! Hm, I guess my death stalker isn't 5th instar anyway then, seeing it's only about 1½ inches (4cm.) and as adult it's supposed to be around 4 inches (10cm)! It's was just a guess from the seller (it is wild-caught)! |

| i remember from a long time ago i was told its usually 6 but big forest species (heterometrus, pandinus etc.) males were 7 and females 8... and something about bark scorpions being male 5 female 6... never had a scorp actually molt yet though (despite keeping over 30 in my time) so i have absolutely no idea
