Not Eating

My little Stripped Bark Scorpion (his name's Alder) hasn't really been eating lately. I make sure he usually has some kind of prey item in his tank. I feed him about once every couple of days. I just gave him a rather large cricket. He's ripped off several of its limbs and i believe at this point he's killed it, but what concerns me is he's not really eating. The cricket was in his tank for two days before he even bothered with it.

Is this normal?

Am I OVER feeding him? If so how often should I feed him?

Two or three crickets a week is about right.

Don't worry if he doesn't eat, scorps can go a year without food and will often fast for no apparent reason or if they have gorged themselves.

Just be sure to get rid of any remains.
